1) What things do you take?
Here are some of items we take: Appliances, Wood, Construction Material, Metal, Garden Waste, Furniture, Paper Products, Concrete, Soil, Tires
2) Is there anything that you do not take?
Yes there is, we do not take hazardous items such as: Batteries, Fuel or Oil Cans, Oil Furnaces, Paint or Solvent Cans, Asbestos, Chemicals, Oil Drums or Animal Carcasses
3) What do you do with the junk?
We recycle and give to charities when possible, the rest of the material is taken to the transfer station dump.
4) How big is your vehicle?
Our trailer is 15 yards in total (14' Long x 4' High x 7' Wide) which is the equivalent of 15 pick truck loads or 100 large garbage cans.
5) Who uses The Trash Terminator Service?
-Home Owners who want to free up space in their house but do not have the means to get rid of their junk or used appliances
-Landlords who want their apartments or condos ready for the next tenant or sale
-Realtor who need junk removed quickly for a client
-Contractors who need extra help to clear junk or construction material so they can keep on schedule
6) What kind of equipment do you use?
The Trash Terminator normally has on hand a dolly, wheel barrel, shovels, brooms and a leaf blower.
7) How do you charge?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, check and of course cash.
8) Why are appointments booked in two-hour time slots?
Due to traffic delays or longer than expected jobs the two-hour time slot allows us time to get to our next scheduled appointment. Our team will give you a courtesy call 15 to 30 minutes before arrival to let you know exactly when they will be there.
9) How do you charge?
We charge by volume of your junk not by the time it takes to load up. To see our rates please visit our "Homepage".
10) Do I have to be at the site when the job is being done?
Customers should normally be on site, but if unable we we review pricing on arrival and call you to confirm. We also accept credit cards over the phone.
11) Why are curbside rates cheaper?
Curbside rates are cheaper because it takes less time and effort for our team to take away your junk. Other junk removal companies charge the same rate for both curbside and job site which we feel is unreasonable for the customer.
12) What days do you collect Bi-Weekly garbage?
We normally collect on Saturday and Tuesday.
13) How is payment made for Bi-Weekly garbage pickup?
Payment is made up front on a monthly basis, although customers can also pay 3 months and 6 months at a time.
